"Amiga"

Good day, community. Today I present the portrait titled:
“Friend”

Decidí hacerle un retrato a mi carismática y amorosa amiga. Otra amiga que veo a través de una pantalla, otra amiga que se molesta, se entristece y es optimista aunque su rostro no lo exprese. Otra amiga que se ha ido a otro país, buscando la esperanza😔

I decided to make a portrait of my charismatic and loving friend. Another friend I see through a screen, another friend who gets upset, feels sad, and yet remains optimistic even if her face doesn’t show it. Another friend who has gone to another country, searching for hope 😔

Fue un retrato difícil porque nunca la había dibujado y actualmente no tengo la concentración total para dibujar pero hice un gran esfuerzo y le realizaré más adelante, un mejor dibujo que represente sus encantos. Hay momentos que no tengo pasión para dibujar pero hay que hacerlo porque de lo contrario, te adaptas a no hacer nada por falta de condiciones óptimas y motivacionales. A dibujar aunque el mundo se esté desmoronando 💪🎨

It was a difficult portrait because I had never drawn her before, and at the moment I don’t have full concentration to draw. But I made a great effort, and later on I will create a better drawing that truly represents her charms. There are times when I don’t feel passion for drawing, but it must be done—otherwise, you adapt to doing nothing due to the lack of optimal conditions and motivation. Draw, even if the world is falling apart 💪🎨

Paso a paso/Step by step

Siempre comienzo haciendo la cuadrícula( a pesar de la exactitud que brinda, no me siento cómodo 😅)y después voy haciendo el retrato con trazos bien claros, no oscuros. Posteriormente voy realizando manchas de diferentes valores tonales según las áreas y a medida que pasa el tiempo, voy oscureciendo, difuminando con el pincel áreas de la piel para después ir realizando los detalles. En el dibujo tuve que hacer correpciones en el rostro y podrán ver diferentes iluminaciones de luz en las variadas faces del dibujo( apagones de electricidad influyen)

I always start by making the grid (although despite the accuracy it provides, I don’t feel comfortable 😅), and then I begin the portrait with very clear strokes, not dark ones. Afterwards, I create patches of different tonal values depending on the areas, and as time goes by, I darken and blend areas of the skin with the brush, later moving on to the details. In this drawing, I had to make corrections to the face, and you will notice different light illuminations in the various stages of the drawing (power outages have an influence).

Para realizar el dibujo utilicé:

• hoja de papel tamaño A4
• hoja de papel para proteger el dibujo y no ensuciarme la mano
• lápiz HB
• parte de atrás de un bolígrafo como extensor de lápiz 2B
• bolígrafo transformado a portaminas 5B
• goma moldeable

To make the drawing I used:

• A4 sheet of paper
• A sheet of paper to protect the drawing and avoid smudging my hand
• HB pencil
• The back of a pen as an extender for the 2B pencil
• A pen transformed into a 5B mechanical pencil
• Kneaded eraser
