Low Kick and Front Kick In Practice - Martial Arts

If you want to kick the attacker's lower parts of the body, you have to be a little closer than when you do high kicks. You can do a high kick and hit the attacker from distance.

Anyway, don't wear heels when you practice martial arts and sparring with your training partner. And keep your both hands up when you do front kick.

Leg is the longest weapon and what you cannot reach with hands, you can reach with legs. So you can do high kicks. But if you are close, you can kick to the attacker's legs.

If you lose balance when you kick and hit the attacker, that's not good. Your opponent can take advantage of the situation when you are off-balance. So always keep your body balance.

You do front kick to hit or push. Sometimes when your opponent gets close to you, you can do front kick to push, then go for another strike. If you want to hit your opponent, you can do the front kick.

You can practice this with your training partner in order to get used to using it in a fight for self defense. It is better to wear safety equipment while sparring so that your partner does not get hurt.

Let's watch this video.

You can do multiple kicks. You have to be fast to do that. Again it depends on how your opponent responds. If your opponent moves away, you cannot do multiple kicks standing in the same position. You have to step forward and do kicks.
