Land Fires Occur Again In Term Bireuen, Aceh.
Another fire disaster occurred in Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, Indonesia. This time, the area covered by sago palm trees caught fire on the border of Alue Bie Jangka and Lampoh Rayeuk Jangka villages, Jangka Bireuen District, Monday, September 26/2022.
According to information, the fire, which was overgrown with sago palms, occurred at around 14.09. WIB, the burning of the land was caused by indiscriminate burning of garbage. The local community who knew the fire had grown and emitted a lot of smoke immediately contacted the Bireuen fire department.
A member of the Kuta Blang Bireuen Post Fire Department, Ruslan Tagana said that his party received information at around 14.09. WIB, that there has been a land fire overgrown with thatch trees in the area. His party immediately coordinated with the Bireuen Main Post Fire Department, two units of the Kuta Blang Bireuen Post fire fleet and three Bireuen Post Main Fire fleet units were deployed to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters immediately extinguished the fire. The fire that grew and caused billowing smoke had made the surrounding community panic. Not long after, the officers quickly and toughly managed to extinguish the fire, so that the conditions were safely under control.
In the last few days, there have been several land fires in Bireuen Regency. From the information received that a land fire occurred in Teupok Tunong Village, Jeumpa District, 24/9/2022. Land fires also occurred in Alue Ue Jangka Village on 19/9/2022. Land fires also occurred in Geulumpang Payong Village, Jeumpa and Geulanggang Baro, Juang City on 20/9/2022.

As well as land fires in Abuek Budi Village, July District on 13/9/2022. Land fires also occurred in Kuala Jeumpa Village, Jeumpa District on 12/9/2022.
