Over the years, we saw Chelsea fans talking about Antony Taylor on social media and their petition against time, the truth of the fact is after what we witnessed yesterday, does he deserve to handle Premier League matches?

On Saturday, Match of Leicester Vs Chelsea we saw a dangerous tackle from Wout Faes on Joao Felix who was later on substituted out at the start of the second half for an injury. That dangerous tackle was supposed to be a Red Card offense because he was no were near the ball, but he was shown a yellow card for that by Referee Andre Mariner and never went to the VAR for review.

On Sunday, Match of Manchester United Vs Southampton United we also saw a tackle from Casemiro who got the ball before the player after his foot was raised from his fall but was shown a straight red card for his tackle after a VAR review and the video assistant referee was no other referee than the referee who handled the Chelsea game ( Referee Andre Mariner). That wasn’t the only case in the match, we also saw a penalty that wasn’t awarded to Manchester United after a Southampton defender used his hand to block a through pass from Rashford from getting to Weghorst

We saw another dangerous tackle during the Newcastle United match against Wolves but no action was taken against that tackle

There have been many dangerous tackling in the Premier League’s history but none of the players involved have ever been shown a straight red card or for video assistance referee to review the offense.

I guess that is why Premier League is ranked as one of the worst officiating in the history of football.
