Ahhhh someone finally reviewed it! This sports anime is really an underrated one and although, as you've said, it doesn't have the same animation fluidity as Haikyu, still it's entertaining to watch. The sport that they feature was so uncommon and like you, I'm also not familiar with it way back the first time I watched it. Although the plot was quite familiar, it's still like a breath of fresh air because it's a new sport for me back then.
And yes! Ojo-san is definitely an admirable character because Kabaddi is a physical sport that needs strength, but still he was able to compete and even beat those players who have a larger build and higher physical strength.
It's really a fun anime to watch, and I agree that this anime deserves a chance to be watched. Btw, thanks for such an enthusiastic review!
