James Harden Is Coming To Philly!
The very week that my friends and I are set to move to Philadelphia, we get the news that we will very likely be getting to celebrate a sports championship this year as James Harden is joining the squad to play alongside Joel Embiid.
This is the most dominant combination of a guard and a center since Kobe and Shaq and we know what those two were able to accomplish.
These two are wildly efficient players and though people are making jokes that they will be shooting dozens of free throws combined per night, that is ok with me as the free throw is the most efficient shot in the game (nobody is guarding you lol).
Harden came over to the Sixers in a deal that sent Ben Simmons, Andre Drummond and Seth Curry to Brooklyn along with some picks in exchange for Harden and Paul Millsap.
The Sixers are now without a doubt the best team in the Eastern Conference based on their roster strength, let's see it play out in some games soon.

Now you may ask why I would be so excited? I am a fan of Philadelphia sports and want to see the teams play well of course, but what I am really excited for is the opportunity to be living in Philadelphia during a sports championship. This city is absolutely nuts and I was there when the Eagles went and won the Super Bowl... It was insanity. I really hope to be there just to spend a night watching some of the most ridiculous human beings climbing poles and jumping on cars in response to scoring more points than another basketball team.
We are only on this planet for so long. I want to at least see one more time the drunkest people in the world sliding down greased light poles.
