Though they took the loss last night against the Hornets, my favorite team to watch play this year has been the Golden State Warriors.

Despite the fact that Klay Thompson is still out and Wiseman hasn't played in a while, the Warriors have an NBA best record at 11-2.

The reason for this has been clear... Steph Curry is having an MVP season. Additionally, the role players have admittedly stepped up for Golden State and they are looking like they are primed for a real playoff run this year.

The Starting Lineup

PG - Steph Curry

This video speaks for itself. Steph has been putting up wild numbers this season averaging 28.1 points per game while being basically double teamed at all times.

SG - Jordan Poole

Poole is having a breakout year and is getting buckets as the number two shooting options on the floor. He's averaging 17.2 points per game and is playing awesome

SF - Andrew Wiggins

Though I don't trust him as much as other guys on the floor, "Maple Jordan" is averaging 18 and had a monster game against the TWolves the other night, he's a good third option out there on the floor.

PF - Draymond Green

A player that is sure to be one of the most unique hall of fame inductees ever one day, Draymond is putting up the weirdest numbers imaginable each game. A great leader and passer, he just needs to chill out a bit and stop getting T'd up.

C - Kevon Looney

Looney has been good at working the paint this year and has been the beneficiary of Steph Curry double teams finding himself open quite often and finishing well.

Off The Bench (highlights)

G - Gary Payton II

A breakout year for GP. He's playing with a ton of energy off the bench and getting very important offensive rebounds for the team.

F - Andre Igoudala

A great vet to come off the bench and establish a defensive identity. He plays a lot when Steph is off the floor and the Warriors need to hold their ground in his absence. Iggy does a good job at keeping the ship steady.

G - Damion Lee

Damion provides good shooting off the bench and has provided great floor spacing along with some big makes.

This team is built perfectly to be an offensive powerhouse and when they get Klay and Wiseman back, I don't see them losing very often for the rest of the season. They may not be the Warriors superteam of the past, but they are playing at a high level and are in the running for the 1 seed in the West this season.
