Esto es un ejemplo para hacer contexto sobre cómo pasa el tiempo y vamos cambiando...pero para estas leyes "el bicho" conocido también de esta forma dentro del periodismo español, Cristiano Ronaldo es totalmente ajeno. Está al alcance de pocos conseguir 100 goles dentro de alguna liga y por supuesto menos a la edad de 36 años, dónde la mayoría de jugadores están en algún sitio de menor nivel futbolístico con la intención de asegurar su retiro a través de grandes sumas de dinero, sinónimo casi seguro de estar en el ocaso de su carrera, hoy, Cristiano consigue esta marca dentro del equipo que lo catapultó a la fama absoluta .

Al mismo tiempo cuando Grecia consiguió por primera vez en su historia una Eurocopa frente al local Portugal, primera final de Cristiano dónde no pudo hacerse con el ansiado trofeo, una selección dónde los más conocidos eran Rui Costa (Milán) y Luis Figo (Real Madrid) yo le decía al único vecino con internet del edificio que me quemara (sinónimo de grabar) videos de fútbol en un VCD (tipo de disco CD de 700 Mb) cuando gracias a esa Eurocopa el balón más conocido era el roteiro, a mis manos llegó dicho VCD de las jugadas más destacadas de Ronaldo, era su primera campaña con el Manchester United, dirigido en aquel entonces por Sir Alex Ferguson, dónde los diablos rojos veían como su "7" el space boy David Berckham se iría al Madrid por una suma ridícula de 24 millones de euros, el joven portugués, todavía desconocidos asumía el reto de portar este número "7". Al principio fue complicado, yo pensaba que capaz era una copia de muy bajo presupuesto de Ronaldo el fenómeno. Dónde también formaría una dupla letal con un joven Wayne Rooney que en aquel mundial lo enfrentó con su selección nacional, era el Portugal-Inglaterra, dónde portó el 17 pero todos sabíamos que era el heredero natural de Figo que para aquel entonces estaba al final de su carrera en el Internazionale de Milán.
