Yesterday was a strange day due to the massive blackout in Spain. At the university the generator activated, so WiFi and lights were available, but other buildings of the university were completely dark. Computers and lab equipment didn't work either.
I came back home and followed the news through the FM radio on my smartphone. After the sunset, I used some candles to get light. Then around 10 pm electricity returned to my neighbourhood, so I could cook dinner. An hour later the Internet was restored, so I could check that my parents and friends were all fine.
