The frustration of the final tournament | La frustración del torneo final

Hello my dear hivers! It is a pleasure for me to share with all of you, 3 days ago I told you in a post Clasificatorio how I made a chess comeback and I was able to qualify to the final of a tournament on the lichess platform. Well, today I will tell you how the final was played yesterday at 10pm (Venezuela time) and how the standings were. An hour before the tournament started, the organizer sent us the invitation link along with the password to enter the tournament, I entered the room and everything was fine, we played a 7 round Swiss with a time of 3+0, we were only a few seconds away from starting the final.

Parts of frustration

This tournament was very frustrating, I think the word frustration is too short, I lost 3 games by time in which I could win, but that's chess, only one can win and unfortunately I could not achieve it, however, my frustration became a bitter sweet taste, you will say why? of the 3 games I lost by time the 3 players were superior to me and with higher elo, and at the end I was placed in 3rd place in the tournament, here are the games of the tournament

Annoying moments

In this position I took the black pieces and made the move c5 opening the great diagonal of white squares, thinking that by threatening the queen, I was threatening the rook at the same time and thus be able to win material, what I did not take into account is that the queen could capture my bishop or even my opponent with the same rook could capture the bishop, no doubt playing c5 was a bad move. However, my opponent made a terrible mistake and moved the rook and lost the queen, the game continued like this: 34)... c5, 35)Rb2 Bxe4+ 36)Rxe4.

In this position I had to make the simple Rxf4 and win the game, but it was not so, I gave check in the last row and let it pass, although the position was repeated to make the simple Rxf4 I did not do it because I was in the time trouble.

In this position after playing e6 my opponent played Rf8, here I should have continued with the simple d6 with the idea of playing e7 and put more pressure on my opponent, but it was more the pressure of the clock and I played e7, blunder.

In this position I gave away my bishop and I got complicated, although I have quality advantage it was a complex endgame, I won the game because my opponent ran out of time.
In conclusion, I lost 3 games by time with strong players of which I could make a faster finish if I had had a faster vision, but well that's chess friends, sometimes we see all the moves, and sometimes the vision is a little difficult for us. ¡Hola mis queridos hivers! Es un gusto para mi compartir con todos ustedes, hace 3 días les comenté en un post Clasificatorio cómo hice una remontada ajedrecistica y pude clasificar a la final de un torneo en la plataforma de lichess. Bien, el día de hoy les contaré como se desarrolló la final que se jugó ayer a las 10pm (hora de Venezuela) y como quedó la tabla de posiciones.
Una hora antes de dar inicio al torneo, el organizador nos envió el enlace de invitación junto con la clave de acceso para poder ingresar al torneo, entré a la sala y todo bien, se jugó un suizo de 7 rondas con un tiempo de 3+0, ya solo estábamos a unos segundos de comenzar la final.

Partidas de frustración

Este torneo fue muy frustrante, es más creo que la palabra frustración se queda corta, perdí 3 partidas por tiempo en las cuáles podía ganar, pero así es el ajedrez, solo uno puede ganar y desafortunadamente no lo pude lograr, sin embargo, mi frustración se convirtió en un sabor dulce amargo, ustedes dirán ¿por qué? de las 3 partidas que perdí por tiempo los 3 jugadores eran superior a mi y con mayor elo, y al finalizar me ubiqué en el 3er lugar del torneo, a continuación las partidas del torneo

Errores imperdonables

En esta posición llevo las piezas negras hice la jugada c5 abriendo la gran diagonal de casillas blancas, pensando que al amenazar la dama, amenazaba la torre al mismo tiempo y así poder ganar material, lo que no tomé en cuenta es que la dama podía capturar mi alfil o incluso mi adversario con la misma torre podía capturar el alfil, sin duda jugar c5 fue una mala jugada. Sin embargo, mi adversario cometió un terrible error y movió la torre y perdió la dama, la partida continúo así: 34)... c5, 35)Tb2 Axe4+ 36)Txe4.

En esta posición tenía para hacer la simple Txf4 y ganar la partida, pero no fue así, di jaque en la última fila y la dejé pasar, aunque la posición se repitió para poder hacer la simple Txf4 no la hice ya me encontraba en el apuro de tiempo.

En esta posición después de hacer e6 mi adversario jugó Tf8, aquí se debió continuar con la sencilla d6 con idea de hacer e7 y hacer más presión a mi contrario, pero fue más la presión del reloj y jugué e7, error garrafal.

En está posición regalé mi alfil y me compliqué, aunque tengo calidad de ventaja era un final complejo, gané la partida porque mi contrario se le agoto el tiempo.
En conclusión, perdí 3 partidas por tiempo con jugadores fuertes de los cuales podia hacer un remate más rápido si hubiera tenido la visión más rápida, pero bueno así es el ajedrez amigos, unas veces vemos todas las jugadas, y otras veces la visión se nos dificulta un poco.
