An Entertaining Draw Between England and Germany At Wembley

That was an interesting one. I’ve never really enjoyed nations league games cause I think most of the countries do not take it too seriously but it felt like a different story between England and Germany last night.

Both teams have received a lot of criticism for their poor performance in the nations league. Before coming into this match England had not scored a goal from open in the whole of the nations League campaign. Germany on the other hand had not kept a clean sheet in any of their 5 matches played. In fact in their last match against Hungary they were defeated by a goal to nil. England on the other hand had not won a single game in the campaign.

Both teams were in relatively bad forms but from the look of things it looked like Germany were at a better place. Before coming into this match England were already relegated so winning this game wouldn’t change anything but winning was the only way out because of the amount of criticism they have received for their bad performance. They manager Gareth SouthGate has been under a lot of pressure for the way his squad is performing. His role as the England coach is starting to be questioned.

For an encounter with the Germans SouthGate went with Harry Kane leading the team with Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden as the wingers. For the midfielders he went with Rice and Jude Bellingham. The full backs were Like Shaw and Reece James. He went with his normal back three and this time round he went with Maguire, Stones and Dier with Pope coming in to replace the absent Pickford.

Hans Flick on the other went with Tes tergen in goal and with a back four to shield his goal keeper.David Raum, Nico, Sule and Kehrer was his back four for the night. In midfield he went with Kimmich, Gundogan, Musiala, Hofman and Sane in the middle of the park. Kai Havertz was the number 9 for the night.

With the lineups both managers picked for the game you would realise all what both managers expected was to have a good game and to at least kill the noise surrounding their teams. From Englands point of view the first half went pretty well for their forwards especially Raheem Sterling. Apart from his goal scoring I for one can say he was able to receive the ball in good areas and move into tight spaces perfectly, the only thing that was missing was the Goal. Until Harry Kanes penalty I didn’t really see him have an impact on the game. And his penalty came in the second half of the match. Foden had a decent game too.

Germany played the first half well enough. They managed to work Pope a bit. But they were the ones who were under pressure for most of the first half. The first half ended in a draw. When the game resumed Germany looked to fix the problems. They did better than they did in the first half in the opening minutes of the first half.

One player that caught my attention was Musiala. He was brave and he tried to dribble past the England back line. He was the main man who caused the first and second goal. He was able to cause Maguire to foul him to cause the penalty after Maguire made a bad pass. For their second goal he was the one who stole the ball off Maguire for them to score.

After going two goals down it looked like Germany was dominating so Southgate made some subs. He brought in Mount and Saka and man this changed the game. within the space of 5 Minutes England was back in the game with a Luke Shaw goal in the 72nd minute and a Mount goal in the 75th minute. England looked in control as they Equalised the goals.

Bellingham was able to win a penalty which Kane slotted in pass Tes Tergen to make it 3-2 against Germany. What a game we had from there onwards. I knew it would be difficult for England to win cause I knew the next chance Germany got will surely be a goal and it happened when Pope spilled the ball after Gnabry tried to score from outside the box. Kai Havertz was there to tap it into the net.

What a game this was, even though no one won I must say that I enjoyed it. Both teams are in the same group with Italy and Hungary and unfortunately for both teams Italy was able to beat Hungary to qualify for the Semis of the Nations league. As I said earlier England has been relegated.

Hi @rubilu

If you look at the page https://wordpress.org/openverse/image/90501d1a-473e-44a5-80f6-f609612e0b8b/, you will see under the "Credit the creator" the instructions on how to give credit to the creator. By following the instructions you are satisfying the requirements of the creator of the image. This is how it is professionally done. If you want to follow the rules and want to appear professional to your readers then you follow the instructions.

The people who upvote your posts do not necessarily do so because they have read your posts. Many users on hive invest in the tokens and upvote posts using https://hive.vote, without any active participation in posting or reading content. These people normally identify authors who they wish to vote and include them in hive.vote, so that the voting is done automatically whenever the authors post articles. But the identification process would involve some initial assessment of the quality of the posts. After observing the posts for days or weeks of a particular author, they may select the author as worthy of being included in the hive.vote.

Personally about half of my upvotings are done this way. For me quality of posts includes the quality of the content, use of images without infringing copyright and whether you have given proper credit to the creators in the format required.

More that 50% of the sportstalksocial authors don't follow the rules. Many of the posts infringe copyrights. Many are under the illusion that giving credit to the author automatically gives them the rights to use the creator's works. Many don't even give credit to the author but credit the secondary source i.e where they found the image (for example, google images, facebook, twitter etc). No legal action is likely to be taken against these people whilst Sportstalksocial is still in its infancy. But rest assured that when this platform gets very popular worldwide, the legal suits will follow.
When it does it will not help removing the images then because once published the records on the blockchain for posterity, even if you delete them later!
