Inter Hold Barcelona To an Entertaining Draw at Camp Nou In the Champions League.

Going into this match there was a lot of talks a about what Barcelona could do to calm and their fans down and to also keep the hopes of their champions league is alive. I was one of the people who thought Barca could do it at Camp Nou. It turned out I was wrong and boy I am glad I was wrong.

Barcelona as we all know it lost to inter Milan at their home last week which left them with only 3 points. The only points they got were from beating plezn by 5 goals to 1 in the opening group stage game. Coming into this game, Barcelona had just 3 points with Inter having 6 points. Baryen Munich as usual too their group with 9 points and winning against plezn in their return leg meant they will qualify early and they did just that.

Loosing to inter would have meant that Barcelona will be going back into Europa League for the second season in a row.

As soon as the match started I said to my brother; ‘Barcelona are rushing and they might end up giving away cheap ball’. The problem with what they were doing was that even though they piled io pressure on inter, it still felt like they couldn't penetrate them. In the opening 20 minutes of the game, it looked like the first leg but inter were better this time. It seems Barca forgot that Inter can play they have refused to play and they choose to invite the pressure they get from Barca.

As soon as the ball turned over they counted in style. In most cases, all of their players were behind the ball but they still found a way to pick those two passes and they were in the 18 of Barca. Because of this Barca were forced to give out cheap fouls cause if they don't do that they will concede. Just like that, they gave away a cheap foul in their half of the pitch. Inter managed to pick out Dzeko but his effort could only come off the crossbar; Tes tergen was left standing as he couldn't do much to prevent it. They were lucky it didn't enter.

This e game continued In a similar fashion up until the 40 minute. Raphina on the right wing played pretty good yesterday. He worked so hard to get the ball into the feet of Roberto who played the ball into the box where Dembele simply tapped it in. They celebrated as if they had just won the game 😂. They forget they still had a whole 45 minutes to play. Camp Nou erupted, the fans went wild as they celebrated the opening goal.

After their goal, they slowed down a bit. They wanted to take the lead into the first-half break. They did just that. I had lost hope on inter as I thought now was the time Barca would score more goals.

The second half begun in similar fashion. But this time round Barca slowed down since they had the lead. In the 50th minute, Barella scored the equaliser but how they conceded the goal was hilarious. Bastoni played a ball over the top, pique was closer to it and instead of heading it away, he made a gesture as if he was telling the players to leave it for the keeper.

Barella reacted quickly to get onto the ball and score a beautiful goal. Now Barca became worried once again. They started panicking and played into the hands of inter. Inter realised it was hard for them to defend air balls and the whole night all they did was get balls over the top. The second goal was conceded similarly. Calhanoglu played a ball over the top which Matinez controlled brilliantly with his chest. As soon as he controlled it he played the first-time shot onto the right post, which came off the second post and into the net.

Just like that inter was ahead. They inter calmed everything down within a twinkle of an eye. Barcelona knew if they didn't react it could be bad for them. They tried till the 82nd minute. They scored an equaliser through Robert Lewandowski. After scoring they had hope.

As they say, “You are most vulnerable after a r scoring and it showed”. Because Barca was chasing the game they sent all their players into inters half. That was stupid of them. Over here do we blame the coach or the players? The coach saw that and he didn't ask them to go back.

Onana played a long ball over the top to Martinez, who run from his half onto the ball. He managed to carry it brilliantly and played a through ball into the feet of Gosens who scored. Sincerely I thought inter had won it but Lewandowski had different plans. The scoring and being vulnerable applied to Inter here. They conceded the equaliser through Lewandowski's brilliant header and it was 3-3. What a game.

In the dying minutes of the game inter could have won it, if it were not for the selfishness of Gosens. They had a one-on-one situation and instead of laying the ball to the feet of his player who would just tap the ball into am empty net he wanted to score by himself. Yes tergen managed to spread himself well and block the ball with his feet.

From all indications, Barca would play Europa unless Inter fuck up against Plezn. But even it Inter fuck up against Plezn Barcelona will have to win against Baryen if they have any hope of qualifying. If they wanna qualify it all depends on inter losing or drawing to plenz and Bayern and then they win the rest of their matches.
