The Mighty Reds With A Win At Home.

Liverpool finally win a match against an average team hehe. Am not gonna lie, when I saw that Liverpool had a match against Everton, I was rooting for Liverpool but then I had my doubts. In my mind, Liverpool was going to flop and end up losing paint to Everton, but I was wrong.

This was not one of the best games from Liverpool but they did the job. They managed to start the game rather intelligently and they ended up winning without many complications.

Sometimes you feel like the combination of Darwin, Salah and Gakpo is not gonna work. If you have been following this Liverpool team just after Darwin was brought in you will get my point. Darwin has had an almost difficult start to life at Liverpool; am not saying difficult because when he was bought they won the carabao cup against Chelsea. I remember a lot of people saying Darwin was gonna strive better than Halaand in the first few weeks.

The first 20 minutes were intense for both teams. Both these teams need 3 precious points. Liverpool knows that if they ever wanna make the top 4 they have to start taking points from the weaker opponents. Everton, on the other hand, is also battling against relegation and picking points against the big boys will be a big boost for them, what better way to get boosted than against a shallow Liverpool side this season just after winning against the league leaders.

Winning against Arsenal last week gave them a big boost out of the relegation battle and if they wanted to maintain it that way they needed to win against Liverpool. Liverpool on the other hand needed a spark after losing 3 premier league games in a row, they lost to wolves 3-0, lost to Brighton and then to Brentford. This win was a big boost (hopefully).

The first goal was somewhat surprising. It was created by Darwin Nunez. The more surprising aspect about this one is that it was a counter. Everton was awarded a corner which they tried scoring from. Their effort hit the post and after that effort, Darwin carried it and gave Salah a sweet assist to make it 1-0 for Liverpool.

The first half ended with Everton’s best chance being that shot against the post. They didn’t have a single shot on target in the first half. The second half was better from them but after conceding in the first half there was no way back. They conceded their second and last goal in the 49th minute after Trent gave a sweet assist to Gakpo to make it 2-0.

This win takes them from 10th place to 9th place. Taking Chelsea back to 10th. They won but it doesn’t convince me that Liverpool is back. Let’s wait and see what their best match has in store for us.

It's been a while bro, how is Madrid holding up😎. Liverpool's victory was needed, I watched the game and I saw some little improvement, just hope this boosts their confidence and gets them back on track.

😂😂I knew you will ask me about Madrid. Well, you can have this league title but we will come for it next season.
