Eberechi Eze joins Arsenal-My thoughts as a Man United fan

So, Arsenal just signed Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace and honestly, I have mixed feelings about this. First off, Eze is a baller, no doubt about that. The guy knows how to move the ball, take on players, and he has that creativity in the midfield that can make defenders sweat. Being a Nigerian brother too makes me proud because I love seeing our guys shine on the big stage.

But let me be real, as a Manchester United fan, it hurts a little to see Arsenal getting stronger in areas we are struggling with. Like, why can’t my club make this kind of smart signings instead of wasting time chasing players for months and ending up with nobody? Arsenal just move fast and get what they want. That’s something I wish United would learn.

Now, Eze going to Arsenal is a big boost for them. He fits their style because Arteta likes players who can hold the ball and press hard. And Eze can do that well. He is calm on the ball, he doesn’t panic under pressure, and he can create goals out of nowhere. If he stays fit, I think he will be one of their most important players this season.

But let’s not pretend like Arsenal have turned into some super team because of this signing. Yeah, Eze is good, but this is Arsenal we are talking about. They always hype up every signing like it’s the next Thierry Henry, and then when pressure comes, they start bottling it. I’ve seen this movie too many times. So yeah, good signing for them, but they should relax with the parade.

For me, the part that makes me happy is that Eze is going to play Champions League football now, and that’s big for him as a player. From Crystal Palace to Arsenal is a big step up, and I hope he takes the chance well because talent like his deserves the spotlight. I just wish he was coming to United instead, because we need that creativity so bad. But anyway, best of luck to him, even though I will still want Arsenal to lose every big game.
