I play table tennis a lot, not as a professional but I try, I have known of this rule some years back and I apply it occasionally but I mostly do the cheating one more, because the people I play with are not professional and they don't know the rules, this is a very educative post, thanks for adding to my knowledge, no one has analyzed it the way you do.
