This is the first time I have done this ride and it was definitely tough. Four hours going around Hampton Downs Race Track trying to do as many laps as possible.
I have not been doing too much riding lately so saw it as a good training ride leading into Ironman in December. It has been a long time since I have riden this far and made sure I took the first hour pretty conservatively but then tried to push a little harder for the second and third, which felt really good ticking off 90kms in about 2 hours and 45 minutes.
The last hour was a little tough and my lack of riding had me slow a little. I set the goal of 10 laps for the last hour and just made it. I went to turn into the pits absolutely spent but then was told by the organizer's to do my last lap. It was not pretty but it let me reach 50 laps, finishing 12 amoung the solo riders for the day.

That's like your own F1 Grand Prix! I expect at least it was a fairly smooth surface, but looks like it has some climbs. Well done on your effort.

Yeah it was really smooth, but kinda intense cause you had to always concentrate and take corners, etc.
