Morning Interval Run

run.vince.run just finished a 11.31km run, that lasted for 75 minutes.
This run helped run.vince.run burn 930.7 calories.

Description from Strava: The image is from my winnings that I finally collected. I managed second place at an indoor triathlon though the university of Auckland. They let me know I have a prize to pick up and was nicely surprised to get a small pack of goodies including this gym towel.
This morning we had our interval session with the O'Hagen's triathlon squad. Today was another tough session, with the details below:

  • Warm up
    2.5km
  • Main set
    4 x 1km hard with 500m recovery
  • Cool down

The main set was supposed to be run as hard as you can over the distance making sure you can do another repeat at the end. I actually struggling with my fourth repeat. I was pretty much out of gas and not sure if I ran too hard or the wind and rain was taking it's toll by the end.
