I’ve been buying weights and weightlifting equipment for the last 32 years, and I usually buy bigger lots and sell off what I don’t need.
I purchased over 300 pounds from a gentleman last year, and he maybe had 100 pounds of matching plates, but I purchased all the weight because it was cheap, and I had to have this Troy 45 Lbs plate with handle.
I always soak all cast iron in vinegar/water and then I scrub with stainless pads.
After scrubbing on the plate, I carried a 100 pound barbell of vinyl weight to my car and delivered to the new owner through the offerup app.
I did shopping at the Home Depot and Walmart after the transaction in the Home Depot parking lot.
