Gold medalist sister to the National Games

National Games are heading towards their end in Peshawar. In these games, players have shown their abilities and improved their individual records as well as set national records.

Siblings have won the gold medal in weightlifting at the National Games.

Saima Manzoor won the 55kg category in the National Games while her brother Zohaib Manzoor won the gold medal in the 96kg category.

Saima Manzoor and Zohaib Manzoor belong to the weightlifting family, her father Muhammad Manzoor representing Pakistan at the 1976 Olympics.

Saima Manzoor is an International Weightlifter, having represented Pakistan in the South Asian Games.

Saima Manzoor has dominated her weight category in national competitions.

Saima Manzoor, 25, is the mother of a 6-year-old child and is still playing. They say weightlifting is soaked in their blood, they can't separate themselves from it.

Zohaib Manzoor is also an international weightlifter and specializes in his classes.

Both siblings recently competed in the South Asian Games trials and were both elected, both of whom will now represent Pakistan at the South Asian Games next month in Nepal.

He is determined and aspiring to win a gold medal for Pakistan by participating in the South Asian Games together.
