A night walk (Eng/Esp)
English version
This time the outing was at night, I decided to walk when the sun went down completely, since the heat has been suffocating these days. Being Sunday, there was not much movement in the street, but there were still some passersby. I also found a group of people in the Plaza Pichincha, who had spent the afternoon in a tasca located there.

A curious aspect is that even though it was not so late, the Pichincha square looked quite dark and not because there was no lighting, but because the leafy trees block the light coming from the poles. Hence the obvious contrast with the Plaza Bolivar, which is just in front, where natural light was still visible.

Plaza Pichincha is small, but cozy, it has different benches to sit a good time to rest. It also has green areas and some spaces that are being recovered. During the day this place is very busy, around the square is located the public library, two religious temples, a dance academy, the Café Bracamonte and the Episcopal Palace.

With this tour I could notice that public spaces change drastically by sunlight because while there was light, there was also dynamism in the square, but when night came, the square became a gloomy place that invited to move away, to move to the Bolivar square where artificial light is overflowing and the Christmas decorations are already installed.
