Another day of errands in the city (Eng/Esp)
English version
This time I headed in a different direction, walking along Los Chaimas Main Avenue towards Miranda Avenue, an area where building materials and hardware stores are located in this part of the city.

I was surprised by how well-kept the whole area looks, with green spaces standing out at every turn and a sense of tranquility that is much appreciated in a dynamic city that is always on the move. The contrast with the city center and the market is striking.

I passed by the intersection that divides both sectors and was intrigued by two monuments that were there. The first is a kind of marble statue with a pyramid on top, and the second belongs to the Libertador high school, where a rather striking cactus stands out, without a doubt.

I also passed by the fire station, walking towards Fernández de Zerpa Avenue, which is located very close to the police headquarters. I usually go to the city center to look for tools and materials, but that same convenience works against me when I have to carry pipes, trusses, rebar, boards, or other items that pose a danger to pedestrians.

For this reason, I first walk around to determine the most sensible route for this mission, since the cost of freight is often higher than that of the materials, making the investment unprofitable.
