A new way out of the city (Eng/Esp)
English version
Living relatively close to downtown Cumaná has its privileges, including being able to run many errands on foot. I can even walk to the municipal market and stroll back along the banks of the Manzanares River.

However, when I need to rush to do certain shopping, I have to go to a trusted supermarket, which must be nearby and where I can be sure I will find what I am looking for. On this occasion, my steps took me to the vicinity of the great Guaiquerí Park, where, opposite this natural wonder, there is a very popular supermarket and next to it a bakery whose aroma of freshly baked bread usually delights the senses.

So first I went to do the shopping for the family. Inside the supermarket, you also have to walk quite a bit because first you have to pick up the product and then go to a barcode scanner to find out the price. If you're not convinced, then you have to go back and leave everything as it was.

After completing the task, I reflected on how easy it was to walk to the center. I couldn't help but think of a place where I used to work outside this city, far from everything. Even to buy bread, I had to walk a long way, about seven blocks, and getting to the city center required a long bus ride, a service that was scarce after 7 p.m.
