Mohammad Salah, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Riyad Mahrez, Alexis Sanchez, Marco Verratti, Erling Halland, and James Rodriguez are some of the best players in the world. The similarities between these two players will be obvious to everyone who follows the sport of football. First and foremost, they are world-class players who are well-known for their hard work and accomplishments. What are the similarities between these players? So, here is the list of great players that will not be participating in the World Cup.

Mohammad Salah:
Just a few days ago, Mo Salah's Egypt lost the AFCON final against Senegal. While the Egyptians are still grieving from the loss, they had to face Senegal again in the World Cup qualification match. This time, Mo Salah's Egypt was trounced yet again by the Senegalese. The qualifying round moved directly to the penalty shoot-out, and Mo Salah lost the chance to score in the shootout. Though it was contentious that the Senegalese fans were trying to distract Mo Salah with laser lights, the Senegalese didn't care. And it's apparent that the Premier League great will likely miss the World Cup.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic: Whatever happens, I'm going to miss Zlatan in the World Cup more than I can say. His press conference is the thing I'll miss the most. With his sense of humor and sarcasm, Zlatan Ibrahimović has established himself as the Sarcastic King of the football world. As a result of Sweden's failure to get a World Cup ticket, there will be no more Zlatan press conferences to look forward to.

James Rodriguez: James Rodriguez is one of the players who I've had a lot of fun watching play over the years. It's obvious that I won't like him, especially considering that he used to play for Real Madrid. However, this is not the case. I may be a diehard Barcelona supporter, but I also enjoy watching players from their opponents. It's entertaining to watch them play. One of them was Kaka (also known as "The Prince of Football"). James Rodriguez was the other. When I was watching the 2014 World Cup, James caught my attention. When he scored the screamer from about 40 meters away, it was a thrilling moment. Not only was I astonished by their performance in the World Cup, but I believe that practically every football fan was as well. It seemed almost certain that he would not be able to participate in this World Cup, but there was still hope. However, now that it has been confirmed, I will undoubtedly miss him during the World Cup.

Erling Halland is the only young star that I was really looking forward to seeing perform in the World Cup. I wanted him to have the opportunity to play on a large platform. Norway, on the other hand, will be unable to compete in the World Cup due to the fact that his country is almost a one-man army.

Those are the names that come to mind right now. Please share your list with me.
