Golf sport in Schools?
Back in March, I heard this news but I was much occupied in my daily life to take a lapse to share it. I thought I needed to have a fresh mind before I sprout anything regarding the real news. So why did it take me time to come back at it is clear, but you know, I was surprised to hear that, in few of the schools in Bangladesh, students are able to PLAY GOLF IN SCHOOLS.
This was a surprise yet shocking news to me. How come it is not in the headlights? Maybe it is, yet not vocally prominent. We all are aware of the female cricket team in Bangladesh, but how many of us are willingly accepting and spreading the news?
Back to the topic, golf is being practiced by both males and females in a few schools in Bangladesh. It was striking news for me because I myself was able to only play football back in the old days. It expanded to cricket quite soon but women weren't allowed then. Now both women and men are able to take part in sports and it is impressive to hear that Bangladesh is not limiting the scope of youths anymore and they are actively promoting all sports, even if it is in small proportions.
Even though we are aware that females will be criticized when they are playing yet they are not stopped and that is what impressed me the most. Additionally, golf is being practiced on a good scale that students are able to compete in the competitions and are getting prepared simultaneously. The consequence of letting school students get involved in golf is basically opening a door for improvement, as from school to college to university, takes quite a huge time. This also diverts students' attention positively while keeping them away from negative habits.
Bangladesh is actually rising and to be able to witness such actions, really got me into tears. Although I didn't see this, my brother who is involved with sports at his university has witnessed it. Finally, I can now dream of making my children involved in sports without rethinking the consequences. Life is too short to be hovering over bits that make things unnecessarily complicated.
I hope this piece of information is helpful and makes us proud as Bangladeshis. To motivate or demotivate is always our choice. I thought to share to express my happiness in hearing about the success of sports and how drastically it is emerging in our society. This surely unites us all sports enthusiasts towards a blooming future.
Golf is one of the most popular sports. It is the commonly sport at some area of my country too, I never try it to be honest but, I would take some time to experience it.
That is great. I wasn't aware that it was so popular until recently. I think it takes a lot of patience to play golf, what do you say?
Golf is offered in most of the decent schools a san extra curriculum sport. I think it depends if there is a teacher who is a golfer himself/herself willing to do this. I visited one school who actually have a 9 hole golf course in their grounds.
That is huge right? "9 hole golf course in their grounds", that is a great initiative. I haven't seen the likes in my country but I really need to inspect, my mind wants to know more. Teachers are true blessings, truly.
You need to comment more as this post would have earned more rewards and cannot submit this due to lack of engagement. You are costing yourself by not doing certain things that is expected. Posting is only half of what is necessary and why you are not getting more now.
I try to engage but I guess it is not enough. I need to put more effort, I am trying.
Adding extracurricular activities to education is very necessary. Students should not only be taught how to read and write rather they should also be exposed to the world of sports and games.
Golf is an interesting game and it's a laudable move by schools in Bangladesh.
Actually true, very few people understand that. Yes, I myself was really happy to know that Golf is being practiced often. This is surely the beginning of an unknown journey of success, maybe? The world of sports is growing much more rapidly than how it used to, and that's very good news, to be honest.
Good news for Bangladeshi students. Golf is a sport you should train after a long education. Most of the courses are not very difficult and you have to work very well to take a good course and still finish, but you have to do very well because you are going to get a lot of time and work hard to make the best possible decisions.

Yes, eventually, gold does exercise patience and accuracy. I consider that this exercise is quite healthy for the brain and eventually is needed even in corporate life. Although, it is true that people used to consider education and sports to be rivals. It is funny to hear but that was the case in my area. So, I am happy to see the turnover.
