Context: Some believe that fast bowling is the most significant factor in getting a batsman out of a cricket match. Fast bowling has been a part of cricket culture for a long time. Fast bowlers who were feared for their pace and bounce have been seen many times in the fast lane. When you watch the battle between quick bowlers and batters, it is pretty entertaining to watch. If you can't be entertained while watching a cricket match, then there's no purpose in watching it. When you're watching a cricket match, fast bowlers are always there to keep you entertained. There are some fast bowlers in this T-20 world cup who have recorded speeds of more than 150 kilometers per hour. Let's take a look at the following list.

Full Story :
We've already witnessed some of the quickest deliveries in this season of the T-20 world cup, with some reaching speeds of more than 150 kph. Moreover, the list has several of the fastest bowlers now present in modern-day cricket. Let's have a look at the list first.

  • Haris Rauf (Pakistan) - 153 kph
  • Anrich Nortje (South Africa) - 153 kph
  • Haris Rauf (Pakistan) - 152 kph
  • Shaheen Shah Afridi (Pakistan) - 151 kph
  • Dushmantha Chameera (Sri Lanka) - 150 kph

Starting at the bottom of the list is Dusmanth Chameera, who bowled a bowl at a speed of 150 kph. He is followed by a number of other players. When experienced players like Mahela Jayawardene, TM Dilshan, and Kumar Sangakarra retire, it's intriguing to witness the young players of Sri Lanka step up to the plate and take the initiative. And with Micky Arthur as its head coach, the Sri Lankan team is headed in the right direction.. It has previously been demonstrated that Micky has done excellent job with the Pakistan cricket squad. Moreover, the emergence of quick bowlers such as Dushmanth Chameera and Shanaka is a positive sign that their squad is on the right track.

Then there is Shaheen Sha Afridi, who is a Pakistani star bowler. MY, MY, MY! Against KL Rahul in the match versus India, he bowled a delivery that was nothing short of a dream delivery for a fast bowler. That was absolutely unplayable at all times. At one point throughout the match, he was constantly bowling at a rate of more than 144 kph, which is quite fast.

Anrich Nortje from South Africa is giving me the vibes of Dale Steyn. He bowled the second fastest bowl of this tournament with a speed reached up to 153 kph. Dale Steyne has left a legacy that he is simply carrying on by Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada. Dale Steyne was the undisputed leader of the fast bowling attack for about a decade and a half after his debut. Dale Steyne was carrying on the tradition established by Shoaib Akhtar and Brett Lee. Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada are now following in their footsteps.

And Finally Haris Rauf, Before commenting about Haris Rauf I want to say something about Pakistan Cricket. Pakistan Cricket was always famous for Its bowling unit and the bowlers. And till date, Pakistan Cricket is producing some great bowlers. If I want to talk about fast bowlers of Pakistan Cricket I must Mention the name of Shoaib Akhtar. The person who made fast bowling a culture. It was so enjoyable to watch him bowling. The fear and the nervousness of a batsman were so entertaining to watch before the batsman faced Shoaib Akhtar. At the event at the age of 40, Shoaib Akhtar bowled 140+ in a charity match recently. Haris Rauf is carrying on the long tradition of Shoaib Akhtar. He bowled the third fastest and the fastest ball recorded in the tournament, with speeds reaching 152 kph and 153 kph, respectively. You have to admit, this is a fast pace.

As the event draws closer to its conclusion, I expect to see a marked increase in the level of competition. Hopefully, I'll be able to catch them in one of the upcoming games.

I still find it surprising that people have so much fun watching and following this sport. I really don't just find it interesting from afar but I guess I would learn of if well in the nearest future.

Speed has to have accuracy and know like Shoaib Akhtar was quick, but wasn't deadly accurate. When we are talking about deadly fast bowlers I cannot forget Waquar and Wasim. Harris Rauf doesn't look like a fast bowler yet it is amazing to see how fast he can bowl. I am hoping someone tops the 160km/h and beats Jeff Thompson's record.

Yeah..Haris Rauf doesn't look like a bowler that can bowl that fast. Recently he's been bowling some slower balls too which is pretty amazing to see. And I don't think there will be someone who will bowl around 160 kph. There is no one in the current list of bowlers.
