UFC 269 : Who is not a quitter?

Among the many names we find in history on pages of perseverance, now we got another to add in it who is none other than; Charles Oliveira. Yes, I am talking about THE CHARLES OLIVEIRA, the Brazilian Martial Artist.

It's difficult to tell if someone is strong or weak, humble or arrogant based on their appearance. Such personalities cannot be observed by casual glances at people unless you have the ability to read minds. Even in that case, it is not possible.

Last Saturday in Las Vegas, Oliveira re-established himself as the world's best lightweight champion. It takes a struggling mind to keep going before finding the peace they seek. Some people chase their fate, while others steal it. Such, are the recorded verses, but what truly exists is that we are all struggling on the inside.

Although we know that doctors are there to help and make our lives easier in the country where I live, many people here believe otherwise. However, because we continue to rely on doctors, we cannot simply blame them for not doing their jobs properly. It will be a general accusation against all of them, which is wrong. You can't blame everyone else for what happens to some people. So, there is a group of people who do not believe deeply in the words of a doctor that easily.

Oliveira's mother once refused to believe what a doctor said: "he would not walk, he would stay in a wheelchair." She refused to give up, and now she has Oliveira, fully recovered. Oliveira acknowledges that he has and has had faith in God and that he is only blessed here by the grace of God.

Who would have guessed that this MAN had been or was about to be handicapped? He is now a fighter. Our connections and environment shape who we are based on how we reflect on them. These enable us to produce and become our best selves. Someone directs us and because of them, so many possibilities arise.

Simply put, like the Hive journey, it began with one person and spread to many. One brought us here, and we all exist as a result of a chain reaction. However, how much we give and how much we earn is determined by how we respond to it. We are humans, and we struggle in order to survive. Our nature is not to lay down; our nature is to rise and go beyond unless we die while fighting battles unsold, untold, and unread.

Sports, in my opinion, and experience, have more stories hidden within them than what meets the eye. Oliveira isn't a quitter, and neither are you. I'm not. Are you?

Wow, I never knew this background story about Oliveira. UFC 269 was such a great event. I was very surprised by several of the outcomes. I will say that I feel like the Nunes loss was a little suspicious though.
