My Actifit Report Card: May 12 2022
Thanks to my Wednesday walk, I managed to hit my goal once more of 10k. The weather got quite warm and humid again, despite the severe thunderstorms the night before. It’s been a rough couple of days as temperatures went from 40F to 90F quickly. I like summer, don’t get me wrong, but not so soon!
It was a healthy day; I filled it with rotisserie chicken, chickpeas and spinach, and plenty of greens. With the dog walks and Wednesday walk, it was easy to hit the mark. It feels pretty good to keep the streak alive.
Three things I was thankful for yesterday:
- Walking through the marsh in the morning
- Having a job
- Watching a thunderstorm’s lighting late at night
I stayed up late to watch another round pass north of us. The lightning was amazing to watch from afar. So much energy in the air…it’s an amazing thing to witness.
That’s it for a Wednesday. On to Thursday!
