Arsenal Battles Manchester City For The Community Shield Title

Introduction

As football action is gradually gaining momentum around the world, fans of the biggest football league are excited to see their league return back. The english premier league, popularly known as epl has returned with a community shield action where current league winners battles down with the runner's up for last season.

What an exciting match to watch, after watching brilliant display from both teams last season.

We saw how Arsenal fc where able to dominate the league with young players by staying at the top for a very long time. But unfortunately, they ran out of momentum due to fatigue and lack of squad depth.

The current champions of england had patience through out the season, thereby capitalizing on every last ten(10) games of the 2022/23 season.

The 2023/24 season would kick off today with the community shield title. Though, it is interesting to see that both clubs has strengthen their various teams by adding more signings.

The 2022/23 edition of the community shield would be played on the 6 of august, 4pm sunday evening.

Before going straight into the lineup, both teams have had interesting matches over the years, with manchester city dominating most. Manchester city has won the last 8 games they've played against Arsenal.

Unluckily for arsenal, they only have one injury problem which is Gabriel jesus. The brazilian is not in the lineup for today's game.

My Opinion

From the Manchester city's lineup, De bruyne was'nt in the starting lineup but i feel that he has a better way of controlling the mid-field than kovacic. Haaland might possibly not get a goal today due to the absence of kevin.

From the Arsenal's lineup, Havertz should n't have played the number 9 position in the absence of Gabriel jesus. Trossard was a better false nine(9), or instead Eddy Nketiah.

The match is about to start. Personally, i hope to watch and enjoy a beautiful football
