Rayo Vallecano 2 : 0 Deportivo Alaves
German Bundesliga
Bayern Munich 2 : 2 Bayer Leverkusen
French Ligue 1
Paris Saint-Germain 2 : 3 Nice
Talks Review

The two most exciting fixtures for me took place in the french ligue 1 and bundesliga.

Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen settled the match with a draw after a late minute penalty was awarded to Leverkusen.

After this game, Leverkusen are currently sitting at the top of the table, followed by Bayern Munich.

England sensational striker Harry Kane scored his 4th bundesliga goal, setting a 4 out of 4 goal record for himself.

While in ligue1, Paris saint-germain surprisingly lost to Nice last night, after Terem Moffi showed the qualities of a good striker by netting twice and giving an assist. Although, France Star boy kylian Mbappe also netted twice, but it wasn't enough to rescue the former champions.

Nice currently sits at second while Psg sits third on the table.

Talks Review

As at the time of this write up, the EPL had began with an early kick off. Liverpool who are currently away are in action with wolves.

Matches to look out for in the EPl today are United-Brighton, west ham-City and Newcastle-brentford. We would see how possible united can come back from their previous defeat to the gunners. West ham has being relentless in their past few matches, can they stand up tall against pep side ?. The visibility of Newcastle has began to fade away this season, but lets see what they can do against the bees.

Matches to look out for in the Spanish league are barça-betis and Valencia-atletico.

Matches to look out for in the German bundesliga are Freiburg-dortmund and Leipzig-augsburg.

Matches to look out for in the Italian serie a should be all. Juventus is indeed a strong team, but lets see how they face their opponent today. The Milan derby is always an exciting fixture to look up to. These two sides are dominant, so the match is going to be interesting. As for Napoli, can they possibly bounce back from their horrible loss ?.

In the french ligue 1, we should possibly watch both matches.

August EA SPORTS Awards

The EA awards is awarded in four categories and always given for the best performance in the EPl. The recent one was for the month of August, which was awarded during the international break. Let's start with the various categories...

Manager of The Month

Ange Postecoglou who is the current manager of Tottenham Hotspur won the august manager of the month award after starting this season in a fine run. He has had 3Wins and 1Draw in 4matches, and currently sitting in the second position on the table.

Though this has raised so many concerns on why pep of Manchester city didn't win it after having 4Wins in 4games. Well, that should be another topic for another day.

Player of The Month

James Maddison of Tottenham Hotspur has won the player of the month after showing a fine performance in the month of August. He joined Tottenham this season from Leicester city who are currently relegated. He has since scored 1goal and given 2assist.

Save of The Month

Allison Becker of Liverpool has won the Castrol save of the month after making a fine save of a shot from Almiron during their match against Newcastle united.

Goal of The Month

Kaoru Mitoma of Brighton has won the august goal of the month award after scoring a beautiful goal in their fixtures against wolves. The Japanese sensation had improved to so well from late last season.

Current information

Trent Alexander-Arnold is currently not on the bench for Liverpool today due to hamstring.

Pep Guardiola, manager of Manchester city might be returning to touch line today after having a successful surgery before the international break. Though he missed a game before the break.

Arsenal are still missing Jurrien timber and Thomas Partey, as both players are currently injured, though it seems Partey will be returning soon, earlier than timber.

Ivan Toney of Brentford is currently suspended due to betting allegations and won't be in action till January 2024.

As for Chelsea FC, they currently have eight(8) players in the injury zone. Players like James, Chalobah, Badiashile, Bettinelli, Lavia, Fofana, Chukwuemeka and broja are out.

In Conclusion

While concluding this post, wolves where 1nil up against Liverpool.
The matches and few information provided in this post should be able to provide little details of current happenings in football.

It's a wonderful Saturday, go out there and support your team. Enjoy the rest of your day.
