Amazing what a difference 24 hours (or even eight) makes. I felt so much more energised today! Got through a lot in the morning, adding all the one-off bookings for one of the venues. Comparatively straightforward and most of the detail was there. Unlike the repeat bookings that have been going on for years! In some cases, only a first name is recorded. I wasn't sure whether Val was an organisation or a person. It turns out she is a person.
There's a lot of competition for space - meeting and activity space and storage. Some groups are very large with twenty plus people. All manner of things - dancing, singing, art, plus three Women's Institutes (morning, afternoon, evening).
Then three meetings in the afternoon. All interesting, worthwhile, and come five o clock I had finished and started walking to the village, getting invited to a party on the way and having a meal in the restaurant around the corner.
Not bad steps!
