Hello everyone, how are you all? Hope you all are doing well and i am too. We all know that Hivechess season festival 21 started from last week and yesterday it is round 2. Total of 20 players participated in this round 1 player lower than previous round which is not a happy thing. Many players didn't showup in round 2 and i hope they will join in the round 3. Round 2 is very tough i felt and my position is of 15th out of 20 at the end of the match and which is not a happy thing for me because i got 9th position in the 1st round and now i falldown 6 postions lower. My performance decreased compared to previous round but i had few good battles in this round too. @stayoutoftherz posted the results of the round 2 in his blog and you can go through it here. The winner of this round is @samostically and in this round he is flying like Sonny Hayes in F1🔥🔥

My game

Coming to my game, i played 10 games out of which 4 i won and 1 draw and 5 losses. Out of 4 wins, one win is against @samostically and he did berserk so i got advantage of time and i won on time basis but in next game he won on me very easily. The best battle i had in this round is against @stayoutoftherz and till now, i never won a game on him but this time its a draw by mutual agreement. Whenever i play with him i learn my mistakes at the end of the game. Its so pleasure to me to play against players who are 2000+ rating and giving them a tough competition.

This is my performance at the end of the game.

This time, first time i got a chance to play against @maestroask and he is IM player as i heard i think. The way he plays is completely different from other players. I hope i will have more games against him so that i can learn from his game skills. Still my debut win against @lighteye and @stranger27 is there i hope i make it in next round. I need to practise much more games and especially i have to focus on how to move pawns and practise the endgame.

Now i am waiting for @sam.chess saturday showdown and @sammy00 chess960(i should not get last position this time).
