EPL: MATCH DAY 5 RESULTS

Match day 5 in the English premier league was complete as we saw some expected and also shocking results.
First we saw Arsenal played host to Nottingham forest. It was the first game for Ange Postecoglou as Forest new coach. The match begun and as always Arsenal were in control of the ball. The class and quality of Arsenal was shown as the thrashed Nottingham forest 3-0 at the emirate. Two goals from Zubimendi and 1 from Gyokores. Noni Madueke was named man of the match.
Later in the afternoon, Sunderland visited crystal palace. It was an intense match between both team. Crystal palace were yet to taste defeat. Both teams played well, but at the end of the day points were shared between both team, as the match ended goalless.
Everton played host to Aston Villa at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday. Everton played as a team who aimed to win. The kept pressing but to no avail. Villa hasn’t been so good from the start of the season. They played bad against Everton but Martinez was there for their rescue. The match ended in a goalless draw, as but sides shared the spoils.
Wolves visited the St James’ park Stadium to play against Newcastle. Both teams have had a rough start of the season and were hoping to get something out the match. A first goal from club-record signing, Nick Woltemade debut for Newcastle secure the all three point for the Magpies.
Bournemouth play host to Brighton at the vitality stadium. Semeyo led an assist for Alex Scott to score his first goal since December. Later, Mitoma scored an equalizer to make the game 1-1. Semeyo from the spot give the Cherries their second goal. The game ended 2-1 in favour of Bournemouth.
Fulham played host to Leeds united. Fulham have been struggling since the beginning of the season. Fulham were seen still struggling to score or win as the played against Leeds. A late own goal form Gudmundsson give Fulham their first win of the season.
Tottenham visited the west London stadium in a London derby against Westham. Westham were awarded an early red card in the first half. In the second half, Spurs thrashed Westham 3-0. Goals from Sarr, Van de Ven and Bergvall gave Spurs the win.
Brentford played host to Chelsea at the GTECH Community Stadium in another London derby of the week. Schade gave Brentford the led in the first half. Super-sub, Cole palmer gave Chelsea an equalizing goal. An outstanding strike from Caicedo gave Chelsea the lead. A Carvalho’s late goal from a long throw gave Brentford their equalizer. The game ended 2-2.
Burnley played host to Liverpool. Liverpool struggled to score a goal against Burnley. Thanks to Mejbri handball give Liverpool a penalty. Salah scored from the spot to give Liverpool a late victory.
Manchester city welcomed Manchester united to the Etihad stadium in a Manchester derby. Both team had a rough start, city coming from a lost to Brighton and united coming from a sleepy win over Burnley. Foden’s opener gave man city the led, later Haaland added two more to make it 3-0. Manchester united were thrashed by rivals Manchester city in a Manchester derby.
