If I were a swimmer
Greetings!

One thing I have not learnt and that has not even crossed my mind is swimming. I don't really know why I'm not so thrilled by it, maybe this might be connected to my phobia for water, I can just really pinpoint why I have not been able to swim.
Having said this, I would like to make my response to the topic before us which is “the swimmer.”
Well, as for me, I have never thought of becoming a swimmer in my life and this is because I have never developed an interest in swimming, but maybe because of the topic, I would like to develop an interest in swimming and perhaps become a professional swimmer one day (lolz).
That's by the way, going back to the topic of the prompt, if i should find myself in the midst of water, I don't think there would be anyway out of the water in the term of swimming right now and if that should be the case, I would like to look for another means of safety and might be in calling out loud for help and i believe even with that, I will see people coming to my rescue.
However, if there's no help at sight as a result of people not being around the water or river bank, then it's then the law of doing it yourself will come in for me. As a matter of fact, I have over time realized that humans tend to do what they could not ordinarily do whenever they are in danger.
Over time I have seen people jumping a high fence when they are in danger and also, I have seen people who would not even kill a rat kill a snake when they are left with a snake in a room.
So, I believe if I'm in a danger of drowning, a chemical in me will surely be released and this would enable to find a way out of the danger zone and maybe through this, I might make use or practicalize some of the swimming I have once watched at one of the olympic swimming competitions and sometimes, the essence of seeing or watching this competition is to make us have an understanding of how it's been done.
Therefore, I strongly believe that my experience of the competition might be of great advantage for me in a critical moment of finding myself in a water where I have to look for a way of coming out so as to guarantee my safety.
In conclusion, one thing I believe in is that there's always going to be a way out so far I would not just give up and drown in the water. But one thing this experience will do for me is that, as soon as I'm able to get out of the danger zone, I will just go and learn how to swim and like I said earlier, who knows who will become the next champion in the next Olympics swimming competition, it might be me.

STOPActually, learning to swim is very important, especially if we live in a flood-prone area. I don't blame you, this phobia problem cannot be taken lightly. This fear always appears and is very difficult to get rid of.
Yes ooo. Thanks for stopping by.
I can only assume that someone had to come to rescue me from drowning as i also don't know how to swim 🤧
