"When I was 12-years-old, I wrote down in a journal that I wanted to be #7 in the NBA" - Jaylen Brown

I couldn't sleep. I stayed up all night watching the NBA Finals. It was another dazzling game for Jaylen Brown. He started hot in the first quarter in game 3 against the Golden state warriors. He led the Celtics to victory scoring 27 points. He also had 9 rebounds and 5 assists.

This is not the first time I watched him play this way. He has been somewhat consistent in his performance. A very underrated player!

I finally decided to do deep research on Jaylen Brown and I discovered how much of a harder worker he is. Jaylen Brown has a YouTube channel, where he has posted several documentary-style video series depicting his life. He posts about his work ethic and some other things like his love for chess too.

Against the Miami Heat, he was always the first to come out to work out before the game begins. Even though he is not talked about like his teammate Jayson Tatum, he still works hards.

Sit On Your Eggs Until they Hatch

Jaylen is a franchise player that is not talked about, Boston Celtics are close to winning the NBA finals and they are playing well. Guys like Tatum, smart and even Al horrors I've stepped up. Playing against the Golden State is never an easy one especially with Steph curry draining threes like rain. However, when you look at players like Jaylen brown, it feels like the Celtics are closer this time.

Jaylen Brown is focused and determined. One thing I find remarkable is his honesty. If he is having a bad day, he lets it out.

In Game 3 against Miami Heat, Boston Celtics lost 109-103 despite Brown dropping 40 points. He came out to say he was disappointed in his performance because he recorded 7 turnovers. "did an s--t job taking care of the basketball tonight," Jaylen Brown says.

Many players look for others to blame, he even went further to say he doesn't give excuses. Players like this would stand out.

In Conclusion...

The Question remains this, Can Jaylen Brown Power the Celtics to another NBA championship title?

Would he also get the NBA Finals Most Valuable Player Award? (I'm curious because he is really underrated in my opinion)

Here is his interview after game 3
