Just 14 days into the new year, and we are all set for the new seasons of HiveChess!
Three HiveChess events every week! and it just keeps getting better.
CHESS! CHESS!! CHESS!!!
Yes! Three tournaments, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
The new seasons for each tournaments begin this weekend. And with today being Friday, we are set to kick off tonight.
Before i break down the details, it is important to know that the tournaments are for players of all strength. Yes, you can play and better still, you can earn too.
Now let's take a look at what to do to participate?
First, you have to join the Chess Community created by @jaki01, as you wouldn't want to miss the updates right?

We play chess on https://lichess.org. If you don't have an account, you can create one in 5 mins🙃
We have three tournaments organized by the leaders of the chess community.
On Fridays we are hosted by @stayoutoftherz.

This event is played on fridays and it's 10th season begins today! With the new @lighteye's scoring system, everyone stands a chance to win.
When i say, you earn by just playing chess, here is what i meant...
In last year still, the prices and payouts from S9 were sent to to all eligible players.
In total 165 Hive and 220 HBD were distributed among 34 participants (in S8 it was 22 players "only"), plus a unique NFT trophy!

This is the longest running chess event on the Blockchain. I mean we are about to start a season 16!

This tournament offers lot of fun as sometimes, we play other chess variants like chess960.
The beauty of this event is that you earn Hbd every week for participating.

You really know chess on hive is growing when there are more competitions right? Well, This event offers competition and it is designed in such a way that you would love to play.

It is going to be beautiful and interesting.
In the past two seasons, the @chessbrotherspro team as done alot to promote chess on hive. Aside the mouth watering prizes given, they successfully carried out an initiative with the @aliento team which involved checkmating boredom on hive through chess.
I believe the team and i believe chess on hive is growing bigger and bigger every season!

In Conclusion....
I believe alot of people can play chess and probably haven't played in a while. Some do play but don't know there is a chess community.
In anycase, you can join us this season to play, have fun and also earn.
I make alot of chess contents too during the season and i video record my game play and upload on Threespeak. It would be nice to see you play and discuss chess this season.

But I got my ass whooped

I didn't understand the rules of the game at the beginning.
I was about the win the first game, but I didn't realize that the timer was also part of the game. My time elapsed first. The next thing I saw was that I lost the game.
That alone disstablized me, since it was actually my first game. And Victory was already in sight for me 😭😭
So the next two players just used me to catch cruise 🤣🤣🤣
