Very interesting write up, I must say I was waiting for your report. Like you said it's a hard one and the upsets in the quarterfinals were really unthinkable, Zverev could have just nicked another 1000 Masters.. And yes The Bulgarian has really impressed me. I wish he wins the competition now. Great Report, I enjoyed reading.

Thank you! It is interesting to watch a tournament like this to be honest. As I mentioned in my post, it's not every day that all the top level players get eliminated this early.
You're right, Zverev is the biggest loser at this point and he knows it.
