The Ghana national football team played its first World Cup in 2006. Participated in the 2010 World Cup and Ghana participated in the 2014 World Cup. This World Cup was held in Brazil.

Due to which the spectators in this World Cup were deprived of enjoying the powerful football game of Ghana.Ghana gets its first chance to participate in the 2006 World Cup. They perform very well in this World Cup.In the first match of the group stage, they lost to Italy by two goals to nil.

The second match defeated the Czech Republic by 2-0 goals. Ghana secured the second round game by defeating the United States 2-1 in the third match. Ghana lost 3-0 to Brazil in the second round and were eliminated from the World Cup.

The spectators enjoyed Ghana's game in this World Cup a lot. Ghana has played a lot of good football since it was their first World Cup mission. Ghana's performance in the 2010 World Cup was much better. Defeated Serbia by 1- 0 goals in the first match.

In the second match, they drew 1-1 with Australia. Ghana lost to Germany by 1- 0 goals in the third match. Defeated the United States 2-1 in the second round to secure the quarterfinals. They lost to Uruguay in the quarter-finals and were eliminated from the World Cup.

Ghana comes to the attention of the world for its consistently good performances and many spectators especially enjoy the game of Ghana.The Ghana performance of the 2014 World Cup was relatively bad. Ghana has not won a match in this World Cup.

They were eliminated from the first round. Ghana are four-time champions of the African Nations Cup. In 1963 they had the honor of being the first champions.
