Rediscovering fun and play

Question – What is fun for you? What brings play/games/sports in your day or life and how do you measure the fun? Have we completely forgotten to enjoy?

In particular, I would Like to mark the social sector, organisations that are working on various social issues, and most of the time forget to have fun and enjoy themselves.
It's been more than 15 years and gradually this is one of my learnings how serious this sector is becoming and how we are always talking about issues around the world, of course, which is important, and different people may have different goals and focus. But our work and dedication will not reduce having fun parts in our lives.
Globally most of us talk about mental health and well-being, but it is important to address are few elements that need to be alive in our day-to-day lives. How children also are missing fun and joy in their lives with so much academic pressure and how sports are not for enjoyment but for competition.

I work with an organisation that uses play/games as a metaphor to talk about various social issues. Our main focus is to empower coaches around the world. Our organisation has a training curriculum PledgeToPlayEveryDay which is a yearlong engagement with coaches to create a safe space for children to follow their aspirations at the same time not forgetting to have fun which leads to a Global Day of Play which we celebrate with partner organisations globally on every 27th August.

I believe in focusing on solutions to prevent children and adults so no one suffers from the problem. There are many research and solutions available. I believe integrating fun into our daily routines is one such solution, doing silly things, and keeping our inner child alive.
