Accidental Swim in the Lake and My Actifit Report Card: April 25 2025

Cleaned up the beach from weeds and driftwood. Mowed the lawn and did more weeding at the entrance to prepare for bark.

The detached garage is in the process of being painted. The place is slowly coming together.

The new deck is finished and looks really nice, much better than the deck I had while I was living at the house.

It was a really nice and sunny day, I accidentally threw the keys into the lake while I was trying to throw into the lake peeling strips of wood that I took off the boathouse door.

It was the only set of keys from the detached garage, garage, and boathouse locks, so I went for a dive and a swim back to the dock.

Luckily, I didn't throw the keys too far, and they were very shiny even at fifteen feet under water or so. So, I was able to retrieve them on my first dive.

It was a little chilly in the water, but since I only spent just a few minutes in the water and got out into the sun, it was not bad at all.

Splinterlands Conclave Arcana pre-sale is up to almost a million dollars spent on packs. People are waiting for the lower Dec SPS exchange fee that is getting implemented next Tuesday, so it will be interesting to see what will happen after Tuesday.

All in all, yesterday was a great day. Actifit steps wise as I have easily walked over fifteen thousand steps.

After the day on the lake, I also managed to go to our daughter school concert. Everyone at her school is supposed to learn how to play a musical instrument. She is not a huge fan of it, but she did play her flute.

We sat in the first row and got to enjoy the show :)

Next time when I get to the lake house, I think I will plant a couple of small palms that are in large planters standing around the detached garage in this place as it looks really barren.

My dad must have been planting some vegetables there. Before, I used to have large flowering bushes in this location.

Today, I worked all day, which was nice to sit and rest from all the physical work yesterday.

After work , I managed to mow and edge our lawn, after which I went to Costco.

Then we saw the finale of the 1923 show. It's kind of a sad ending that neither I nor our daughter really enjoyed.

But it was a great show overall. Harrison Ford did a great job as well as the rest of the crew.
