Laat day of the season in Splinterlands and my Actifit Report Card: May 14 2025

Over seventeen thousand steps yesterday. I was doing final preparations for the photoshoot today.

Right now is a beautiful time of the year in the Seattle area. The picture above is one of my rhododendron bushes, which basically grew into a tree over time.

That is how life is. Sometimes, things that start small grew into big things. This is applicable to both good and bad things. That is why it is important to nurture good things to help them grow into big things that are good or beautiful as the rhododendron in my picture.

It is also important to handle bad things right away before they grow into big bad things. This is where one of my weaknesses is that I tend to avoid and procrastinate with bad things that are unpleasant to handle.

My wife is very good help in this regard. She doesn't let me stall and procrastinate on things that I don't want to handle. I really appreciate her keeping me on track, and this is just one of the things that makes us a great team!

Tomorrow is a big day for me as after months of preparation the house is finally going on the market tomorrow! I hope all the preparations pay off and it sells quickly.

Our agent told us that another house on this lake just went pending today. While that house is newer, bigger, and more modern inside, it went pending significantly higher, and there were multiple offers on it.

My house actually has a larger lot and some unique features like teak dock and a grand fathered boathouse with a boat lift that is no longer legal to build on the lake.

I also have features that the other house didn't have, like gated entry, sandy beach, and mature plants throughout my property, which some really appreciate.

Today is the last day of the season in Splinterlands! Next season is going to be the first season where Chaos Legion is no longer playable in modern.

It would be really interesting to see the stats for the number of players and battles in the modern league. I would predict that the amount of battles in modern will drop in a significant way.

That will probably lead to much higher SPS rewards in the modern league. That might stimulate more pack sales for Conclave Arcana general sale, especially if the price of the SPS token stays the same or goes up.

The brawls will change as well as now there will be modern and wild frays. I predict that outside tier four and tier five brawls guilds will have trouble filling modern frays.

This could lead to further consolidation among guilds and less competitive lower tier brawls. It will be interesting to see how it will all work out.

Another change next season in Splinterlands is that Survival mode is going to be paused, and Wild League will have the two thousand DEC permit fees removed for next season only.

The crypto market is heating up after China tariffs were put on hold for ninety days with an expectation that a deal is going to be reached.

Hopefully, this will lead to an altcoin season later this year, and SPS and Hive will participate setting new all-time highs.
