My Actifit Report Card: June 9 2025

When you are a homeowner, sometimes you have to fix your own potholes.

This was a quick fix I did recently:

Big week for me. Today, we were signing some documents and went to the pool. Tomorrow, I have another production deployment at work and am working on my Docker as it is not starting up after the upgrade to the latest version I did today.

The upgrade did resolve the issue with named pipes that was recently introduced, but it seems to have introduced another issue on my machine.

Sometimes, I feel like it would be better not to upgrade stuff, but then when I sit on those, it also bites me in the behind like the recent brown outs for Azure DevOps agents that run on Windows 19 images.

It's like potholes. If you don't maintain and keep up with the latest updates, it will turn into a much bigger problem later on.

So very true about keeping up with updates!👍
I also learned years ago, to always have an external SSD drive and keep a complete back up just in case the new update crashes my machine!😇
