My Actifit Report Card: August 11 2025

Long day today, and tomorrow I will have to come back myself to the island.

We left for the ferry a bit later as we had to wait for my wife to deliver an important workshop at her work. We ended up arriving at the ferry dock, and the line was pretty big. We didn't fit on the ferry, so we had to wait for the second ferry.

As we arrived in Langley at right after one, we were surprised to discover that every single restaurant had an hour or longer wait.

We were on a tight timeline, so we really regretted not eating at home as we could not get into our first or even second choice restaurants.

I guess we didn't get to Whidbey Island during the peak summer season in the past. Even on Monday, everything is packed.

We ended up going to a place we never visited before because it had the shortest wait. Then we proceeded to Freeland, where we stopped by Sweet Sisters shop. They make small batch organic shampoo, conditioner, and various creams and lotions.

After that, we went to Greenbank, where we had to make a few more meetings to go over a bunch of business stuff.

Then we went to Coupeville to our favorite restaurant on the island: The Oyster Catcher, where we had reservations. Then was an hour and a half drive back home.
