Back to work Monday

Monday means back to work and back to school day. Today I was transportation to school for our daughter. It takes about thirty to forty minutes each way, so it is about two hours driving each day. Monday is noticeably lighter traffic day in our area, so that was nice as there was almost no stop and go on 405 or I-5.

I spent the day at work catching up on what I missed last Tuesday and Friday. There was not that much, but with local elections taking place tomorrow there was some preparation work that had to take place.

Crypto market keeps consolidating with Bitcoin lagging the stock market that is making new highs. Etherium is starting to make what looks like a round top pattern and touched 3,500 today which is the current support.

If this level doesn't hold then next support is around 2,600. That is going to be a serious drop that will drag down with it the whole altcoin market. Hive keeps making new lows and touched eleven cents today. It seems to be in the price discovery mode on the downside. If Etherium doesn't hold 3,500 it seems that a ten cents Hive is going to be inevitable and probably even lower.

With Splinterlands DAO unstaking over a million Hive curation rewards for Splinterlands posts will be lower, but that Hive is going to be used for creation of USDC and Hive liquidity pool on Base blockchain.

So that is going to be a good thing in terms of buying Hive on Coinbase and using the bridge to bring it in to Hive Engine. It is going to be easier for American residents to get into Hive and out of Hive.

I am still replaying the Hive blockchain on my witness. They found a few bugs and the software version was bumped up to 1.28.3, but I see most witnesses running 1.28.0 so I will stick to that one for now.

By the time the Hardfork hits towards the end of this month there might be 1.28.4 or higher around.

There seems to be some drama around BRO community and their tokens. I see people unvoting their witness bet it is still pretty high up there.

Apparently they did something like a rug pull, which is not a good publicity for Hive in general, but will probably not make the news outside the Hive community. Hive seems to be quite insulated from the crypto community in general.
