Hard Fork 28 in Less Than Eight Hours!

In less than eight hours Hardfork 28 is going live. Are you ready? I see that all twenty consensus witnesses have updated to v 1.28.3 of the witness software. That is great to see. I also saw today that one of the witnesses who was behind updating got moved out of the top twenty.

He is also updated to the latest and I saw his message apologizing for the delay, but he is still out of the top twenty for now. I am also observing that highly rated witnesses that are still not on the hardfork 28 version of witness software are starting to loose big votes.

Would be interesting to see if this process accelerates tomorrow or these will also quickly update to the latest software.

This is my first time going through a hardfork so I am curious and observing what is happening during the Hive hardfork.

Today there was some recovery in Bitcoin, but right now it looks like it is going to retest the lows from yesterday. Hive is basically trading in place and Etherium is at three thousand which sounds like a fire sale to me.

Going to bed now and will see how things go tomorrow with the hardfork and crypto markets.

Did a weight lifting workout today and am continuing my steps streak.

    Ah crap, that means it's happening soon. Should have held of making my post this morning. I imagine all the rewards and automated things are going to be borked.

    The main change is that your voting power will not decline with every upvote, but you will have limited upvotes like ten 100% upvotes per 24 hours. There are other changes that I posted about before in my witness update post...

    I just tried to sign into actifit.io with Hive Keychain, and I am unable to..... so I'm sure there are some bugs!🙄

    I had the same experience it could do with the fact that you might be using an Active Key in place of the Posting Key... You can no longer do it after HF28 (security tightening)...

    So Hive Keychain might be prompting to sign in with my Active Key, it definitely doesn't sound safe if that's true!

    I think it was just that the apps had to be updated, I also had an issue logging into Actifit, but was able to login after a couple attempts. The change is that you were able to sign into the services that required posting key with Active key before, now that is not possible. You have to use Posting key for Posting key and Active key will not work in place of Posting key.
