Swimming Pool Fun

Today I went to Costco during my lunch time and filled up our car as well as bought stuff for the week like bison meat for burgers and fruits and bagels.

Prices are lower than they have been recently and it costs less than one hundred dollars to fill up my tank once again. Even with the premium gasoline.

After work we headed to the swimming pool as our daughter really loves swimming. We play all sorts of games together during our time together in the pool.

One of the games is me playing a submarine and her riding on top while I swim under water. Another game which we played together today was whack the mole where I was under water and she would try to whack me with a noodle every time I would come up for the air.

They already have Christmas decorations at the swimming pool. Which looks interesting next to the Hawaiian themed swimming pool decor.

The swimming pool is heated and salt water and is covered, but with giant openings for fresh air, so it is a semi outdoor experience. When you are in the pool it is perfect, but outside the water it is a bit chilly.

After we got some appetite at the pool we walked over to an Italian restaurant nearby. I ordered a stone oven baked mushroom and meat pizza, our daughter ordered meat lasagna and my wife went for a healthy combo of beat, orange and vegetable salad and burata.

We also had a really nice appetizer from sea food and nice olive and tomato spicy sauce. When we got home I gave my wife a massage on our heated massage table and we finished the evening with our traditional tea and desserts and a documentary on Netflix: Life on Our Planet.

It was a nice way to finish off the week. Tomorrow our daughter has an art lesson in the morning and then we are going to get some ice-cream and then will go shopping for the cherry shrimp at a fish store.

In Splinterlands I noticed that they introduced consolation prizes to Weekly Fortune Draws. Now when you don't win anything you get free cards.

It is a neutral common rarity card, so you need four hundred cards to max it out. Since I got three cards this week, it will take a while to max it out. Something like two to three years at this rate, but Fortune Draws are going to be over before then, so not likely that I will be able to max it out. The only chance is to combine cards from both accounts then I might be able to max it out.

Still, it is nice and should encourage more people to participate in weekly Fortune Draws and encourage players to buy and stake more SPS or rent more SPS.

I also saw the new leader board for the new card. Top three get maxed out black foil variant card, gold foil variant card and a regular maxed out black foil card. The rest get "second chance" entries. I didn't get on the top one hundred leader board and got fifty entries.

The season this time around seems to be very competitive and I have not made it into champion league yet. But I will keep playing and should make it there in the next few days.

As far as my steps today I managed almost twelve thousand steps which is pretty good and above my daily ten thousand steps goal.
