A Visit From a Family Friend. My Actifit Report Card: May 26 2025

Today our family friend decided to spend a day with us. The plan was to have some nice outings for the summer. Go to the beach or the pool but we somehow ended up spending time at home, making snacks and taking a walk to buy some melons..

It was 4 pm when they decided to go for a walk and ventured for the search for the sweetest melon. It was a nice idea so I joined them but I forgot how hot it would be. The mix of the humid air and the scorching sun made our hair extremely frizzy. But me and my sister just accepted our faith and followed our mom. She was smiling in the photo but she was complaining the whole time. But we're already in it and going back home will be controversial for an Asian mom.

After a good 20 minute walk we finally arrived at our destination. A very nice vendor gave us a discount and even gave us freebies which we appreciated.

After that we continued our walk to buy some freshly harvested vegetables. My mom already knew the vendors from buying from them everyday.

And soon after we were already walking home..

Carrying plastic bags with melons, vegetables and walking is really a good arm workout but with some good conversation you can endure it.

And then it's suddenly night time.. it was time for them to go home. It's always a good day when they visit us. We get to enjoy different snacks and can laugh about life experiences.
