Are you from Jakarta? It doesn’t seem like a place I want to spend a lot of time (the traffic, Omg!!) but most of my Indonesian friends are from there so I will have to spend at least 2-3 day there when I manage to visit!

Omg hahah. Yeah, I’m from Jakarta. When was the last time you were here? Recently, the traffic has gotten so much worse haha.
I have never been there but when I have heard nightmare stories from friends!
I was thinking about spending a month in Jogja before Covid screwed that plan. Now thinking maybe a 3-4 city music tour if I can pull it off with 1-2 weeks in Jogja or the country
That’s awesome. Jogja’s music scene is always interesting. If you’re planning to visit more cities, I’d recommend Purwokerto, Semarang, Bandung, Malang, Surabaya, and Denpasar (or Bali). They all have great music scenes without being as hectic as Jakarta.
