Another day in Hollywood... New York style!
We went on top of a hill in a giant old mansion turned into a country club.
I don't have a photo of the whole house, but here's the view from inside:
Not too bad right?
The work inside this house was incredible... paintings on the walls, sculpted ceilings, round walls and beautiful furniture.
It kind of felt like we were in a Renaissance era castle.

We're sorta getting out of our winter grind over here, I hope your summer's been good.

It's been an awesome summer. We sold our five acres last year and moved to a small coastal town, only one kilometre from the ocean. It's a small house but a big shed and lots of room to garden, in a quiet street with fabulous neighbours. We honestly couldn't be happier!!! My Dad died 16 months ago so that totally knocked me about as we were very close, I became a grandma (he is 3 and a half) and whilst we still have the Land Rover in the UK, and we're going to head back for another adventure, I've had a bit of a hip issue and then the stupid war ki ked off so this year is about building the edible garden and enjoying our new found contentment if not absolute total joy! So yeah, we are super good!
That's sounds all really awesome... well not the war bit!
Haha yes, Grandma River... good job! I sometimes think about selling our property to move somewhere where there are no winters. But we are kinda deep in the Hudson Valley life now... plus the style of schooling we decided to go with is going to be hard to change. Our 11 year old doesn't want to leave, and we have built a couple businesses over here that are flourishing!
