The race to become champions of england. Who would be crowned champions?

The battle is set for who would win the 2021/2022 england premier league and be crowned champions. The season which started august 2021 has so far seen 19 rounds of matches which have officially put an end to the first half of the season.

The first half of the season has revealed the title contenders, title pretenders, those playing for the love of the game and those that are already threatened by relegation.
Since the start of the season, the league has been topped by different clubs, of which some are pretenders.

Clubs to have topped the league includes; Chelsea, Liverpool, West ham, Tottenham, man united and now Man City among other clubs. after topping the league for a week or two, some of them fell and now, they are passing through a phase.

One of these clubs is Manchester United. mid into the first half of the season, the board of Manchester United sacked the former coach, Old Gunner Solskjaer for a poor run of form and appointed Michael Carrick, a former player of the side to act in interim basis, some weeks later, Ralf Ragnick was appointed to spearhead the team for the remainder of the season. Many fans have criticised the tactics of the new coach because for a club that has Ronaldo, they expected better. Man united are currently 7th on the log with 28 points after 17 games.

Another team that is having a not too rosy campaign is Chelsea. After the success of the champions league last season, a lot of hope was put on this team to go for the premier league this season,but so far, they've been having a on and off season with Thomas tuchel. They end the first half of the season with 41 points from 19 games,6 behind the log leaders, Man City and same point with second placed Liverpool.

Liverpool has been having a great season but their loss to leicester city on match day 19 has applied a little brake to their tittle pursuit. having the first and third highest goal scorer in the league, we'll be opened to a lot of dramas when the league resumes.

Man city. the defending champions and currently on top of the log. they started slowly,but they've found their footing and now,they are racing comfortably to another league title. They're currently on top of the log with 47 points from 19 matches.

We can't talk about the best teams so far without mentioning West ham. They started well, picked form along the way and zoom they went,they didn't lose to any big team. They got on top of the log,the lost form and some players to injury and now, they're down to 5th with 31 points from 19 games.

And yeah, Arsenal. The hottest club right now. They started the season very poorly, dropping as low as the 11th position,but over their last couple of matches, they've won and consistently worked their self back to the top. The philosophy of Mykel Arteta is finally working fine,or so it seems. A player of interest in that arsenal side is Smith-rowe. he has shown exceptional qualities.

Mohammed Salah of Liverpool ends the first segment as the highest goal scorer with 13 goals. followed by jamie Vardy with 9, Diogo Jota with 8, Mane with 7.

Burnley, Newcastle and Norwich are all struggling in the relegation waters. With 4 matches in hand for Burnley,the future looks bright and an escape from relegation looks certain. However, it looks that Norwich city has already been confirmed for relegation after garnering 10 points from 19 games.

The season has ended. another set of 19 matches awaits us in the turn of next year,but as they say,"Make hay while sun shines."
