Farewell To Blue Lightning

Yep that's right, I can't drive the Pontiac G5 anymore, the brakes are pretty messed up, and there is soo much wrong with this car. Pretty soon it is off to the junk yard.

So I had to improvise on who I was going to get to work.
The alarm blares at 1:30 AM, jolting me awake from a deep slumber, I rolled out of bed, knowing I have a long journey ahead of me. I quickly dress in my work clothes, grabbed my backpack, and headed out into the cool night air.
I hopped on my new trusty bicycle and started pedaling down the empty streets.

And the seat was the most uncomfortable seat I have ever sat in, but what can you do, the only sound is the hum of my tires on the pavement and the occasional rustle of the leaves in the wind. The darkness envelops me, but I feel a sense of freedom as I speed through the quiet city.
As I reach the outskirts of the city, I encounter my first obstacle, a skunks scurrying across the road, I swerve to avoid it, narrowly missing a collision, My heart race as I continue on, thank god that little guy never sprayed me, that would be brutal working all day smelling like skunk.
Finally, after what feels like an eternity, it was very long though, twenty three kilometers or around fourteen miles later. I arrive at my workplace. The sky was just beginning to lighten, signaling the start of a new day, I lock up my bike and head inside, ready to tackle whatever challenges come my way.
As I settle into my work routine, I reflect on the adventure I just has. The thrill on the open road, the obstacles I overcame, and the sense of accomplishment at reaching my destination. I may have dodged skunks along the way, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Adventure awaits, even in the darkest hours.

Work was really busy, people keep on buying those Toronto Maple Leafs donuts, even though they lost big time last night.

After work the city transit was running, so I put my bicycle on the front of the bus and hopped in the bus, the bus ride was very bumpy, my coffee was flying all over the floor and all over me, and I thought to myself, you know these are neat adventures, but I hope I get a new car soon.
The ride was very scenic though.

Wow, that's a long ride to work.
Hope your rides are smoother without further close encounter of the skunks or other sudden appearing creatures.
